I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with it to give you those details. I know that Rules can pretty much do anything that Actions/Trigger fails to do, from my experience, including PHP stuff. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

'Tokenized email' lets you enter an email as the recipient but how do I tell it that I want to send the email to the a role?
and how do I add to the body of the message which user triggered the action?
---

Is there a way to include the user that triggered the action in the body of the message
when using "Send email to all user in a specific role(s)" ?
I know that I am able to %uid, so I have the id, can I use php code inside the message body to display the username?

Thanks!

I think you need a 'Tokenized email' in the advanced area. That may require the tokens module, though. Hope that helps.

When I am configuring an action in /admin/settings/actions/configure/
I want to include the user triggering the action as part of the action's email
message.

How can include the username when creating an action of type
"Send email to all users in a specific role(s)"

I tried '$username', '%username', since they work with "Send an email..."
type action, but it did not work with the "Send email to all user in a specific role(s)" .

Thanks,

Néstor
