[support] Best practices for stage <--> productions

David when you say clones do you mean working with git?
In our online study group at http://drupalistasgroup.com/  we have been
exploring multi-sites and backup and migration strategies. As you said
there are lots of strategies.
Anyone is welcome to join us.
