Home is a link to the home page, the other 3 are basically module generated pages, and one cannot use MOTF for it.

Right. The menu on-the-fly module (which is where the above screenshot is coming from) uses the collapsible form groups patch [1], and so far no usability issues have been reported. It's been released since 4.5.2.
