aye and making the module useless on hosts without mod_rewrite.
I would not consider this a major problem. Drupal already uses its SEO friendliness without mod_rewrite.
If mod_rewrite isn't available, it uses ?l=xx -- like Drupal's ?q=... mod_rewrite's only used for nicer paths. - rob -- Rob Ellis <rob@web.ca>
