[drupal-devel] break part of a thread into a topic

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has some proof of concept or even working code to break part of a comment thread to a new topic. It is not trivial, but is not really hard to implement. We would need it at multiple sites, and I have seen requests in this regard before. Just would not like to go into something which is already worked on (like with my s5 work before :) Goba
