Congratulations, Charlie! I'm looking forward to working with you and seeing great things happening with Drupal docs. Djun On 18 May 2005, at 1:33 PM, Dries Buytaert wrote:
Hello world,
two weeks ago, I asked the drupal-docs@drupal.org mailing list for feedback on having a "Drupal documentation coordinator". Four excellent candidates stepped forward; Bryan Kennedy [1], Djun Kim [2], Anisa [3] and Charlie Lowe [4].

While everyone who applied could do the job excellently, I've chosen Charlie Lowe to be Drupal's first documentation coordinator. Charlie is a long time Drupal coordinator, known and respected by everyone in the Drupal community. Last but not least, he has the documentation experience it takes to keep us on track.
As Drupal's documentation coordinator his responsibility is to (i) to determine the priorities and direction of Drupal's documentation, (ii) to maintain policies and style/markup guides, and when necessary (iii) to make final calls in documentation-related decisions. Of course, Charlie can delegate responsibilities to anyone involved with Drupal's documentation so that he doesn't have to carry the "full weight" himself.
Please support Charlie in his new role and trust his guidance. Thanks!
