Right. That issue caused the problem in the first place, hence my report. ;) Documentation in INSTALL.txt about this is obviously nice to have, but is not a replacement for making the installation actually completable for new people. But through that, I found http://drupal.org/node/194369 and that seems to be where this reply is more appropriate, so I'll go post over there. Thanks! -Angie
