I was having a little chat about PHP5 support with a guy at midphase.com. Off the record, at this stage, they generally support the movement, but the main problem for them with *pushing* PHP5 is Fantastico. Had a little look around. Here is a list of scripts supported by Fantastico, along with their PHP5 status.
