I completely support the idea of coming up with a minimal, clean drupal.css.
I have no strong opinion about whether drupal.css should or should not exist, or what should be in it, with one exception.... Under the category of "clean", could we *PLEASE* get rid of this code: .node-form fieldset { display: inline; } This is the bug (http://drupal.org/node/16729) that causes Konqueror and some versions of Safari to be unable to enter text into node forms for fields that appear inside a "fieldset" tag. I reported it back in February, and it's been confirmed by a number of other people. I really hate to nag, but a bug that wipes out a couple of fairly-popular browsers, and which has a three-line patch, really needs to be fixed. If there is anything else that I can do to help make this happen, someone please tell me, and I will do so right away. I think, though, that this one is out of my hands.
