Announce a date, stick to it, move forward. People who don't upgrade now, are the ones who won't upgrade then.

I definitely agree with that , just trying to be devil's advocate here ;) In a scenario where Drupal moves to PHP 5.2 on Feb 2008, lets say its Drupal 7 then. Will we continue to support Drupal 5.X & Dupal 6.X on PHP 4.X ?
