[development] Flexinode and 4.7

I may well be missing something, and if so I'll be happy. So imagine for a moment that a site (4.6) has about 6,000 flexinode records, and uses 'flexinode/search/1' with query options to generate views of people based on the location field in the flexinode type. I upgrade the site to 4.7 and Flexinode no longer has a search option at all, which breaks the UI of the site entirely. Would I actually have any options here, or is this data now more or less useless?
