For a metric to be useful, we must be able to quantify it. We can quantify the number of users, the number of downloads, the number of developers, the number of projects, the number of forum topics, the number of CVS commits, etc. We can't (easily) quantify the number of problems Drupal solved. -- Dries Buytaert :: http://www.buytaert.net/
