lol yeah, I believe the intent of the original author was to hold off on D7 until D6 matured more from a crontrib standpoint. I'll +1 that idea. D5 was and still is a very mature platform that you can develop and build off of, seemingly without "need" to upgrade if you have a site up and running stablly; this isn't always the case with 6 with some of the more major projects just getting to full releases in the last 6 months.
