Yeah, I don't really think we should call it NAPI nor FAPI Lite. :) But would like to get a bit more input so I know if this is of some interest before a create a patch for review. Actually, it's just using declarative programming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Declarative_programming) where it makes sense.
