We're already using 'drupal1' and 'drupaldb' (aka Sun-prise).
Gaah... "drupal1", "drupal2", "drupal3"... more imagination would be nice
One of the good parts of being a sysadmin instead of a network admin is that you can make funny hostnames (routers always have boring names). I once did the admin of a big entertainment company where the webservers were called "Huey, Dewey, and Louie", impossible to keep track of what host had what problem :-)
Heh :) In my last work we had 'Smurfs' theme, so there was 'papa', 'brainy', 'gargamel' etc :) This theme was a good choise, because the names were easy to remember and there are many Smurfs so you won't run out of choises.
But what about a poll on drupal on "call the beasts" contest.
Poll would be nice too
I mean we can come up with better names than drupal[1-9]!
My suggestion goutte, tropfen and gota
Eh, what's that? Google isn't helpfull too... We need at least 4 names afaik :) I'd suggest 'atos', 'portos', 'aramis' and 'dartagnan', but I'm not sure how's with extensibility...
This is possibly fun, but very much pointless. Lets allow those working on it to choose their names. If anyone is willing to put time into joining the team and helping the management guys in their tasks, then feel free to suggest different names. Otherwise leave them to choose what they feel comfortable for their work.
