The biggest problem with that is the different locations where they store their files. I would like to be able to get the bootstrap of drupal low enough, that you can create (say) a templates/ hook, which is just a wraparound for the themes directory. Otherwise, you will still need to edit the templates from other cms' to change the paths of where things are.
