I agree. I would propose to use some wiki convention, like wikipedia's [[node label | internal:node/1]].
I just realize that what I write makes little sense, and it's equivalent to using "internal:node/1". If there is a separate wiki filter, then something like [[node label | internal:node/1]] will also work, provided that internal:node/1 is turned into a valid link. Greetings, -- Alberto
