She is also right that 4.7 is going to be a lot of work for a lot of people without a lot of tangible benefit and we should recognize that (I know I do). I don't have a problem with that if we are steadily working towards best practices in everything. 4.7 is an example of best practices with forms, since they are now (more) secure.
So what are you trying to say? I don't get it.
I have lots of Drupal sites running. Many of these sites have special modules. These modules will have to be rewritten for 4.7 to do exactly the same thing they are already doing. This will take time. Time = money. Every time we break backwards compatibility there is a cost. I'm saying that I'm OK with that as long as it improves Drupal, but that the cost should be recognized as well, and as Drupal's popularity increases, so does the cost.
