I believe that you make my point very well. These numbers are useful.
And my point is not to be taken as "just a complaint", for it is not. It's a real barrier, most especially, to keeping things up to date and implementing new features as they become recommended.
Umm I've put together some awesome asset management tools for magazines that respect editorial and production workflows using drupal, without coding more than a few patches for broken modules. that aren't yet released..
