Time frame for project approval?
Hi! I created a new project over a week ago, but it still doesn't show up on the modules page. I'm wondering how long it usually takes to get approved? Thanks, Ricky

It will get auto-approved after you add code to the cvs repository. Cheers, Gerhard

Sorry, I have to ask, how long does it take to get contrib cvs approval? I applied a couple of days ago but, apart from the automated email haven't heard. Regards --AjK

OK. Except that I had added the code before I even filled out the project submission page. I've also branched the files for DRUPAL-4-7, and have made a few updates since that time. (I'm referring to the 'minutes' module, in contributions/modules/ minutes.) Thanks, Ricky

I did create a 4.6.x module three weeks ago called 'version' which is not showing on the modules page either. I didn't say anything because I din't want to bother anyone with something that I assumed it was due my lack of knowledge and 4.7 needed all developer's attention. However, after reading this message I investigated a bit more.
I use a gui cvs on my mac to work with drupal's cvs so I created a new folder for my module into my 4-6 branch folder. I notice that the commited files were tagged with the DRUPAL-4-6 branch tag. When browsing the cvs http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/version/ don't show my files unless you choose the 4-6 branch. Other modules show branched and not branched files. I thought then I would need to have some files that would need to show at that url. So I created a new folder under my head branch folder and commited the files. Now http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/version/ shows my files. However modules page don't show the module (yet?). If this is an auto-approved process why are they not showing? What else am I doing wrong?
You probably found another one of these hard to fix project, module bugs... Cheers, Gerhard

So what should I do to get my module listed?
Your case was not a project bug but a "can't read instructions" bug: For modules, choose "Modules" and a sub-term, for themes "Themes", for translations "Translation". Cheers, Gerhard

Ah... Thanks for pointing that out. My apologies for the bother... Ricky
