there should be a patch in the patch queue which let module developers document permissions (inside _perm()), and show these notices in the permissions overview.. Unfortunatly I cannot seem to find the correspong threath anymore... Steef --- Stefan Nagtegaal Drupal-Devel@iStyledThis.nl Drupal Development Mailinglist

That's actually one I've picked up. :-) http://drupal.org/node/30984 It's been waiting on review from a higher-up who can comment on API changes for a month. At the moment I don't have high hopes for it making 4.7, but it would be nice. -- Larry Garfield AIM: LOLG42 larry@garfieldtech.com ICQ: 6817012 "If nature has made any one thing less susceptible than all others of exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an idea, which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps it to himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into the possession of every one, and the receiver cannot dispossess himself of it." -- Thomas Jefferson

I'd like to see the ability for modules to omit checkboxes from the table. For example, remove all 'administer ...' options for anonymous and remove things like 'access private messages' which are meaningless for anonymous. -- Neil Drumm http://delocalizedham.com/

I'd disagree on this one, as it is very useful during testing to get people to visit your test site anonymously and play with admin settings. A warning or highlighting should be enough IMO. -- David Carrington
