[drupal-devel] Movable Type
Movable Type 3.2 has been released. Might be a good source for inspiration: http://www.cmswire.com/cms/micro-cms/movable-type-32-hits-the- street-000651.php -- Dries Buytaert :: http://www.buytaert.net/
Anybody running it yet? We need a code for this widget ;) http://www.sixapart.com/pronet/weblog/2005/07/selecting_categ.html
Not running it per se, but testing. I just set it up yesterday. On the admin side there's AJAX all over the place. That widget doesn't really drop down from the combo box...it's a hidden DIV that displays on clicking a link. Nice idea, I must admit. With their new templates, they've created a new market for Movable Type site designers...in making a single template system for MT, Typepad and LiveJournal they've come up wih some hellishly complex CSS. This category select tool looks pretty neat. However, it wouldn't help all that much if you've got 100+ categories to sort through (from what I saw of it). We've started to implement this tool for another project: http://www.barelyfitz.com/projects/filterlist/ Could be a very handy way to sift through a long selection on a drupal site.
