whoop, posted w/ the wrong subject. let's try this again... i'm happy to work on the issue you raise there, *if* we can come to a clear consensus on whether this patch is core worthy or not. i have well over 100 hours invested in that patch--i really don't want to invest any more unless it's going to matter... :) chad

I want to make Drupal core flexible enough that a trashbin module can live in contrib. Cheers, Gerhard
