Nancy, The following should do what you want: Redirect /cc/ http://example.com/ This redirects requests like: http://example.com/cc/whatever.html to http://example.com/whatever.html I put these into httpd.conf. I think that's backwards from what I want. I am moving the current site (subdirectory) to an entirely new host (the old host does not have PHP5). While there would be no problem recreating the directory, I would rather not. This article looks like it's translating INTO a subdirectory, rather than OUT.
