[support] Changing background of active slideshow thumbnails

Hi, I am using drupal 6 I have created a views content slideshow similar to www.yahoo.com I am trying to highlight the active thumbnail by changing the background of .activeSlide class This works on hover, but not when the slideshow is playing or a slide is active.
