[support] About Drupal and update request

Hi all, I have a Drupal 6.8 installed in a windows 2003 pc with apache 2. In this it's no longer possible to make "update request". I think it's related to some new firewall settings. Which URL is invoked when I make an update request? Which port? And in general, which port and URL is better to "open" in a good drupal firewalled configuration (downstream)?
