[support] Front page settings

I have two panes on my front page, each pulling from a view. I wanted to make them display a teaser of the whole node, but they are displaying the entire thing. I looked at admin/content/node-settings and everything is in order there. I checked its view type: teaser and it is set to page. The panels are pulling from that view, then displaying on the front page. Any ideas? --ian--
