Sure, have a look at http://dev1.cai.org/node/140. So far I'm still in development but I guess you get the idea. Hover your mouse over the words JAMES 5:16 and the text will pop up courtesy Glossary & jtooltips module (it's hard to read right now but a couple of changes to the CSS easily fixes that). If you tick the right box it also becomes a link to a page which lists all your sources in alphabetical lists. The definition (text) is maintained in the taxonomy. I think this is a good solution if you are quoting exactly the same sources on different pages, and if you like the pop-up effect. However, you might altervatively like to use one of these modules instead: http://drupal.org/project/footnotes http://drupal.org/project/citation_filter What functionality do you require that they don't provide? I'm using the Glossary module for something similar, although it's not really intended for that.

Hello crocodyl,
CCK to the rescue! Create a field for each type of reference you need for the content type you are using.
Using contemplate <http://drupal.org/project/contemplate> or by customizing <http://jodyhamilton.net/node-theming-field-deconstructing-node-content-drup al-5> the relevant .tpl file in your theme, you can make those fields present on your node exactly how you want them.
Good luck,

I run a journalistic corporate accountability site, crocodyl.org, and we are looking for a solution to include detailed footnotes of all of our sources at the bottom of each node.
Such as: time of citation, URL, name of source, etc..
I looked at all of the modules but could not find one that offers this specific functionality, has anyone seen this implemented on a Drupal site? If so, could you provide links?
