[support] Memory Error

Hello, Drupal 6.8 Sorry for a noob question. I just added a new content type, and got this: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1252219 bytes) in /includes/database.mysql.inc on line 301 I googled around and I could guess I need to hack .htaccess file, but not sure what is the exact syntax and if I need the tag or just write one line.
