I am looking for a *best* way to let users upload a PDF or Word Doc and link to it all from CKEditor in the WYSIWYG Editor for Drupal 7. I think this can be done in the media module but I do not see how. Ideally they would upload the document, enter the link text and a link would be made automatically. Use a core file field in D7 and then the insert module to make linking easier: http://drupal.org/project/insert Jamie Holly http://www.intoxination.net http://www.hollyit.net On 5/11/2011 3:32 PM, Steve Kessler wrote:

If you insert a link(from the toolbar) you can upload from the same popup. That's what I typically do. * Ryan LeTulle*

Insert modules works very well and is even cleaner than it was in D6 so that is good. I just have to have the user change the name for the link but that is OK. Thanks, Steve On Wed, May 11, 2011 at 2:31 PM, Jamie Holly <hovercrafter@earthlink.net>wrote:

For D6, the Insert module works well for this. http://drupal.org/project/insert. I see there is a D7 version, but haven't tried it yet. Michelle On 5/11/2011 12:32 PM, Steve Kessler wrote:

I've been using the D7 version since January and haven't had a problem. Jamie Holly http://www.intoxination.net http://www.hollyit.net On 5/11/2011 4:41 PM, Michelle Ziegmann wrote:
