It apparently DID timeout. I called GoDaddy, they tested the database and said it was working. Then I tried it again and it worked! So something got cleared. -- James A. Rome

I completely agree. I used GoDaddy until I starting using Drupal. Everything was incredibly slow. I switched to BlueHost, saving $8/month and got incredible service and no problems for over a year now.
