I've been using "Learning jQuery" by Karl Swedberg and Jonathan Chaffer, and it's been really helpful. I was also impressed by how helpful the authors were. I submitted a question at the learningjquery.com site, and ended up having a great conversation with Karl Swedberg about things that have been deprecated in jQuery since the book was published.
