[drupal-support] http://drupal.org/ - fails http://validator.w3.org/ validation
Hello. I'm looking for a CMS. I was surprised that the drupal web site failed w3c.org validation with 9 errors. Easily fixed ???

All of those errors are caused by user-entered content, and not the default HTML of the Drupal templates. Drupal, outta the box, validates. -- Morbus Iff ( est quaedam flere voluptas ) Technical: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/au/779 Culture: http://www.disobey.com/ and http://www.gamegrene.com/ icq: 2927491 / aim: akaMorbus / yahoo: morbus_iff / jabber.org: morbus

Bluebeach (the drupal.org theme) also uses the non-standard <wbr/> tag to get linebreaks right. This however, was a design decision for that particular theme and has nothing to do with Drupal itself. Cheers, Gerhard
