hello, I'm a volunteer firefighter. Recently our volunteer organization had a large amount of money stolen from us... We're looking to build a website so that we can update the community on different events and running different fund raisers. We're a non-profit organization. I'm looking for someone who's willing to make a drupal theme for our site. We're willing to link back to your site and mention you as a sponsor as well as give you our eid so that you can use it as a tax write off. Thank you please contact me if you're willing to help or would like to know more information.... I really hate asking for help like this but we could really use the help with a nice looking site for our community. I'm sure you'll get some people to help. I know Amit (search the forums) offers some free help to non-profits for example, and he's great. However the support list isn't the right place for this post. Post it in the Drupal paid services forum. Even though you can't pay that's where people who can dedicate some time to this will see it.

You can see many (all?) of them in action here: http://themegarden.org/
You can have a nice looking site w/o a lot of time or any money, and many of them are easily customizable w/o a lot of effort.
If you don't want to beg, you can do a little something on your own. That is one of the beauties of using Drupal.
