I've been asked about how to create POT files. I assume the person uses windows.
Would anybody be able to write a handbook page on creating POT files using our extractor and windows? Should be a child page to this one: http://drupal.org/node/11396

Creating POT files with extractor.php on Windows should be the same process as it is on any other OS. I have never tried to do it on Windows, but if someone tries the instructions in the README alongside the extractor, he will find, whether it works the same way (it should :)

I remember I did it and worked just fine, but I had to do some renaming after the extraction. I also had some troubles with newlines.
I'll give it a try later and report back.
