Take a look at my upgrade instruction here: http://civicspacelabs.org/ 
home/upgrade.  In particular http://civicspacelabs.org/home/upgrade/ 
testsite.  They are also mirrored on to the Drupal site.

You can dump the node and content type tables.  But when you insert  
them in a new site you'll have to up the sequences table.  If you  
want to add them to a new site then I can show you how we have done  
this manually on CivicSpacelabs.org to add the site configuration guide.
