I would recommend passing along a report by Idealware (http://
idealware.org/donations/). It's a pretty good run down of online
donation options, including explaining the benefits / drawbacks of
the various choices. It's especially clear about the flat fee VS
percentage per transaction costs of the various options.
The only downside is that you have to register with idealware to get
the report. I've found several of them interesting though (and they
don't seem to spam).
It's always nice to be able to pass on a document, rather than having
to reinvent the wheel.
