In your current functionality list below, is the www.example.com
presumed to be the Drupal-powered site in the new implementation? And
thus, the sample URL given of www.example.com/site_name something that
Drupal would catch and then do an "intelligent" redirect to the
corporate site?
If so, and if URLs of the form www.example.com/associate/site_name
would be acceptable, then I think that developing a small associate
module which handled those path names, did the MSSQL look-up and
redirected should be fairly simple to write, assuming this last
technical hurdle can be overcome:
How does one get data from Drupal/PHP into ASP sessions variables for
use after redirection to the corporate site?
Otherwise, a more complicated solution, using the ASP pages as a
webservice or something else will need to be implemented.
