Hi all,

This is my first interaction with the Drupal community. I am co-chair of
Allies for Racial Equity, an organization of anti-racism activists within
the Unitarian Universalists faith community. We have downloaded Drupal 5.1.
We need someone to help us get it stable, with its initial configuration of
hi-priority modules, and with a starter theme (I'd like to do a custom
theme, but that is not a priority right now).

In my work life, I am a best practices consultant, specializing in the
Unified Process and UML modeling. So the (possibly) good news is that I can
represent the requirements cleanly, as use case diagrams, some UCes detailed
in text or with activity diagrams.

The critical work we have is to:

1. Make certain the site is properly configured. We did not download
it with the CVS connection; can that be added or is it a different download?
We have not really done any substantive work, so if we need to start over,
that is not a problem.

2. Confirm that our take on initial modules is appropriate to our
needs

3. Download and test the target configuration, with particular concern
for CiviCRM and whatever additional election-related module(s) we might
need.

4. Enter membership information using the CiviCRM module, which seems
well suited to our needs, and then to design and post nomination forms,
followed by online election forms. I have an activity diagram describing
what we need between now and December 1st. I can share that diagram with
anyone interested in a consulting assignment.

I'm not sure if this is the right way to go about finding someone to help.
please advise if it is not :-).

Thanks,
