Hi people.. Beware about VISA and explanation about the visit to USA.
One friend of mine just was rejected in the airport because he said he
was going speak/participate in a conference in NY, and also as being
paid for that, you can't have a regular visitation visa, and should
query a job permission instead. Also in defcon the last year another
guy was rejected because of the same explanation. Both did get a plane
back to each country and they were unable to get another visa in a
short time.

So participants, if are going to be paid in somehow should be really
carefull about how and what do they say in the airport once arrrived
to NY.

Just to take care.. don't say you will do work or get paid because of that.

Note: please, USA citizens.. am I wrong? should people say or don't
say something else?
