There's a difference between saying "I disagree" and saying "stop wasting
the bandwidth discussing it." because "It is simply meaningless."

*Dissent *is a part of discussion (the opposite side of an argument)- Nancy
is *stifling *the discussion (saying that the discussion shouldn't be
happening at all). Very different things.
