[consulting] A recruiter to watch out for...

OK. This is really getting ridiculous. I, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this, get hundreds of emails per day. I scan through most of them, and if they don't require my attention, I delete them, and forget about them.
@Karen, when you rehashed this issue you were shooting yourself in the foot. I read the original thread about this, and I promptly forgot about it. It wasn't that important in my mind. Now that this thread has been beating a dead horse, I'm going to remember your firm, and remember that you caused this onslaught of emails that's now clogging my inbox. Otherwise, I wouldn't have even thought twice about it. Good job doing "damage control."
@Everyone else who's replied to this (with the exception of the person who suggested we drop the subject- I didn't catch your name): Really? Really now? Is this issue THAT important that we need to harp on it this much? I don't know about you, but I have better things to do with my time than sit here and read all of these emails. And yes, I read each and every one, because the ONE email that I don't read, is going to actually have something important in it. That's just Murphy's Law in action. It's fine if you find this entertaining. I have no problem with that. But take it off list. This list isn't the flame list. It's a list for consultants. And that's all there is too it. Stay on topic, and quit beating a dead horse. We get it already.
Mike

I would actually prefer that you kept it here as I find it highly entertaining -- and Alex hasn't had a chance to defend himself yet.
My take is it seems to me that John was the one out of line with his pissy email to Alex -- and Alex did the right thing notifying others. I don't see how Alex asking John to attend his Drupal session was rude or deserved the sarcastic email response.
Alex never asked, as far as I know, anyone to email John, so if someone took it upon himself to do so, that's not Alex's fault. John should have thought twice before firing off that email .
Uh oh, am I going to have legal action taken against me now -- or the police called?

I am new to this group, and I hope that this will be a useful forum for sharing tips and ideas. Normally I would expect this sort of conversation to be kept between two parties, rather than shared with the masses. I don't feel I have anything to offer to this, and I would prefer that you both take this offline.
Thanks,

"... right down to the out right threats of physical violence"
There is absolutely no reference and certainly no "out right threates" to
physical action or violence in John's emails to you. This is blatant slander
and we will be taking legal action. What kind of a person goes out of their
way to try to ruin someone else's business by making completely false
claims?
John asked you several times to stop emailing him and your only response was
"block my address." It seems like you were the one that went out of your way
to harass him.
