OK, internationalist means reaching out even to wordpress and joomla land :)
The same forces are at work.

The resource restricted service we need to organize around is wages, because
wages are the only way a corporation can earn a profit, and the only way we
can earn a living. The real battle going on right now around which all the
other valid ones must revolve, is the attack upon working people's wages and
benefits, as seen in the European "adjustments" (Greece, France, and the US
also (teacher layoffs and strikes))... that is the battle ground, but it is
very meaningful because it is a battle which can only be won by the union
struggle being independent of the state and the bosses, if we are able to
win back the unions from the upper crust sellout bureaucracy they install
there; and if the struggle inserts itself into a political one aiming to
refound society upon new social foundations to overcome the limitations of
capitalism. If we struggle to preserve water rights or against the crimes
against humanity of offshore drilling, but voluntarily confine our struggle
to within an acceptance of capitalism, then we are doomed.
Cool debate, Ryan,
