[consulting] Senior Front-End/Drupal Consultant position in Los Angeles

My client is a large entertainment company in West Los Angeles. They are
looking for a senior Front-End / Drupal developer with Digital Media
experience. Entertainment industry experience HIGHLY preferred.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

*         This is a high-energy environment, as the person will be assisting
with issues that come up on over 60 websites from the international
territories.

*         Develop or integrate new websites, web applications, feeds, and
related technology, and help manage client and business expectations.

*         Provide technical guidance, feedback, and oversight for all areas
of front-end & Drupal development including page layout and theming.

 

Requirements:

*         Excel in all components of front-end web development including:
HTML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, JS, and integrating dynamic Flash components into a
website

*         Expert in layout, working from wire frames, comps, or other
high-concept documents

*         Experience with Drupal in a multi-server environment. Should be
experienced in creating and improving existing site themes. 

*         Work with other team members as necessary

*         Drive the development of a new website or component from
prototype, wire frames, comps, or other high-concept documents to a finished
product.

*         Deliver projects successfully and on time with little oversight
required and should be able to mentor other team members, and is also
expected to contribute to new processes for streamlining development and
deployment as needed.

*         Digital Media experience

 

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SITE

CONTRACT LENGTH: Long-term (indefinite)

RATE: $55-$60/HR (depending on experience)
