One common con is to pretend like you're an employee but treat you like
a consultant. Very dangerous because you don't even have a contract. Be
sure that if you are not listed as an employee, you have a clear
contract. Also, I think there is a bit too much fear that assholes prey
on, so don't be that scared. If you have the truth on your side, then
just bear it. You can have clauses in your contract limiting liability
and indemnifying, so make sure you do that at the very least.
