Hi,

Most of things are similar to drupal.org, however I have given a blogging facility also and in future have planned to take it forward.
Yes it is a legitimate effort because after being a member of drupal..org ( http://drupal.org/user/399718 ) since 1 year 15 weeks, i get a kick after answering questions of users in drupal.org forums. I wanted to extend the available information about drupal on the web, so came up with this site.
The idea behind keeping the default garland was to use drupal core provided resources.
Still i will take your advice and will install an attractive theme today itself.
I am waiting for more responses from users, so that i can enhance it.
I really appreciate all responses.

Regards
Sagar

To be honest, if you are going to keep visitors you are going to need a site
a bit more attractive than the default Garland theme. The successful Garland
Drupal sites I have seen have very interesting content that pull visitors.

Hi!

I'm new to Drupal and I want to learn more.
Currently, I'm studying about using CDN that will serve client's content.
The site is more of content and images, actually.
Michael Goldsmith has actually a very good explanation on how CDN works. I
really learned a lot from it.

My question is - how we can fix the http/https issues with absolute
CDNurls? Can we fix that?
What do you think is you most recommended CDN service provider and the
Drupal modules that we can use?

Thank you,
Liza

Liza,

<shamelessplug>

I gave a talk during SandCAMP 2010 on this very subject. Slides are
available for download from my website. I've just started a series on
streaming video from Amazon Cloudfront on my blog as well. These should
answer your questions. I typically use Amazon S3/Cloudfront for my CDN,
but the information should apply to other CDNs as well.

Regards,
Mark Schoonover

might also go beyond the built in blog module. Is this a legitimate effort
or a spam trap?

There are millions of web developers out there and I am hoping to help
the quality of drupal consultants be creating process documents that
we can share and improve. Not sure where it she be hosted yet, but I'm
open.

In the interest of helping myself get started and other drupal
consultants, can anyone/everyone submit their client intake /
consultation document?

I'm this case, I am hoping to create a questionnaire that a client
call fill out that answers questions like:

<Document Title - What should it be called>

1.      Websites normally have a core set of navigation categories that
guide viewers into the most important pieces of their
site....Brainstorm some of the navigation categories that you believe
will be most important to the user (list all of the possibilities):

2.      What colors appeal to you most? Shapes? Designs? Do you have a logo
that is available to use in the design of the website?

3.      What are some websites that you really like? Please list each one
and share what exactly turns you on about them:

4.      Who is your target market? Who will be visiting your site, and why?

5.      What kinds of special functionality do you wish your site to
contain? (ie: shopping cart, newsletter engine, directions/mapping,
forums, blog, etc.)

Thanks for your contributions!

Saki
