[consulting] technical question: single taxonomy term lenght limit?

Hi,

Simple technical question: is it possible to limit single taxonomy term
length? Have project, which has freetaging, but not everyone is
understanding that terms need to be separated by commas (it is written on
input form - still not everyone reads...).

I beg your pardon, if there is very simple solution, but I do not find
correct keywords to search...

Any ideas?
