Hey friends,
I'm looking for advice on finding employment/grants/consulting work to
create a tool for activists to manage their projects.
http://activismlabs.org
Basic idea: Project management tools to combine the Google
docs/calendar/groups lifestyle of an activist into one coherent, simple to
help them more effectively create change.
I had a chance to begin this project as a Google Summer of Code student with
Drupal this summer. I'm graduating before the end of the year and I'm
seeking ways that I could find funding/grants/employment/food stamps that
will allow me to keep working on Activism Labs in one form or another. I'm
deeply passionate about seeing this tool exist.
Questions:
- Do you know of any drupal shops/grants/bags of money with $ signs on
them/anything else that would allow me to pursue this vision?
- Who else should I be asking these questions to?
- Any general advice for finding funding for a project that you've
already dreamed up?
Any and all advice is welcome.
Thanks all!
