It is important to note that the better method to ask is to contact the
maintainer (via the drupal.org contact form for example). Since I am the
maintainer (or, erm, the one who neglected to maintain this module),
there is no need for this step :) I very much use this module (with
4.6), and also have some tips on a personal TODO, I am willing to
forward, which will enhance some of the regexes in the code.

First let me stress that I am sorry for not being a good maintainer,
second I give you free way to continue maintanance. Keep in mind that
the module is designed with modularity in mind, and it is better kept as
is. If you are about to add new features, and are in doubt about how is
it good to continue, let me know, or ask on the development mailing list
(this one) about best practices.
