node aggregator (naggregator) has this. It was even tied into buddylist (my 
buddies feeds). Both items (item in a feed) and feeds are nodes. Esp. the 
fact that a feed is a node (i.e: has an author, can be used in views, is 
taggable etc) might be interesting. 

Not ready for 4.7.
